After all the recent hype around bitcoins i thought I'd better get involved!

Anyway wanted to see what peoples opinions are on wallet options as there seems to be quite a few out there.

After a quick google I came across blockchain. Is this site any good?

Whats are people thought and opinions on the different wallet options?

Any offline wallet. It is best plus you can encrypt them. I don't trust online ones.

I agree with you blockchain.info is the best one out there but if you use a offline wallet i found out if you use a different computer your balance shows up at zero.

Unless you're gonna mine BitCoins on autopilot, it's a hell of a risk right now. BitCoins lost over $200 in value over a course of 3 days and it's still dropping. If it hits back up, that's a hell of a gold mine you can layout for yourself, if not, that a heck of a lot of time you're wasting.

That's correct, because it's offline. If you want the balance to stay the same on every computer, use an online wallet or you wont get what you want :p

thanks guys for the info. I like the idea of blockchain ...more security but still the convenience of having an online wallet.

    Thanks!
