I need a phone number for surveys.

Do you guys dish out your real phone numbers? I did, and I've been getting non-stop telemarketing calls :(.

I do have an unlocked cell phone from Club Bing.

I supposed I need a SIM card for it and have to put some $ on the SIM?

And are those phone numbers valid?

Yeah but what if the person with the phone number gets pissed at all the phone calls and get me in trouble?

I would think that this could all be traced back to me who supplied the phone number to the telemarketers.

I think I'm just going to buy a prepaid SIM card activation kit with a little bit of airtime so my Nokia 6300 from CB will have a phone # and I'll just give them that :p.

Needless to say, my Nokia 6300 will be on mute and stay on mute for the rest of its life :blink1:.

You can always say you typed in the number wrong IF that ever go back to you. But that’s alot of work and it rarely ever happens.

If you are going to do that with your Nokia, why not just leave the phone off and never set up the voicemail? Then they can’t leave you voicemails and they think you just haven’t set it up yet. Versus leaving it on and they fill up your voicemail to point where they can’t leave messages and then they think they got coned.

first of all the phone numbers are fake on that site, nobody owns them. And their is absolutely no way that they are or even want to trace it back to you. They make money, so they wont bother finding that you submitted a number. Also, enless its one of the offers that pay you to enter your cell phone, just put in a fake on. Like on the huge list of sites that you push skip on after entering your email and what no. They really only want your email to spam.

Thanks guys, I've already purchased this though:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003X7RY06/ref=oss_product

And I do believe there is a difference between calling a valid number and having no-one pick up and calling a number to find out that it's invalid.

And of course it can be traced back to me. They go through their records, and see what IP submitted what #.

And lots of offers call you or text you regardless of whether it's a cell phone offer or not.

As for using invalid numbers, I will get banned on PrizeRebel, and all bans are final - no appeals - "I typed my number wrong 100 times!!!!

I've been using random numbers on every GPT site I've registered on, never been banned from any of them. I usually use the local McDonalds/Subway/Pizza Hut etc.

Dude you are wasting WAY too much time and effort on this. Not to mention money. Just go to Google and search for the number of your local Burger King or Wal-Mart and use that.

And PrizeRebel, Points2Shop, RapidGPT, Rewards1, CashCrate, etc. DO NOT want to track you down if you use fake information. If an offer approves you for you and you get $1.00, they're getting $2-3, they're making money. The only one losing is the advertiser, and in my opinion they are spammers and annoying and DESERVE to be losing out. You don't seem to be understanding how GPT sites work. No offense but you're being stupid and making this a million times more difficult than it needs to be.

So if I used your phone number and you got dozens of calls a day, would you be pissed?

Would you be like "who the fuck gave you this #?"

Would you ask them find what dick gave them your phone #?

    You missed my point :curt:.
