Im still shaking my head from all the people that are still trying to buy dogecoin. It has to be the biggest "pump and dump" coin ever released. It is premined with over 90%, so a few people are sitting on the massed of dogecoin. If they start selling it will drop dramaticly.

This coin is only made for one reason, the founders only made it to earn as much money in short time by hyping it up.

The script have already over 30 commits on github showing theyre lack of experience.

Why dont you all look into better coins that actually have a future? Dont throw your money away!

Or it could show that they're adding lots of different things and putting a lot of effort into it.

What's your source for stating that dogecoin was premined by 90%?

I consider Dogecoin more as a joke then a real currency that brings something new to the table tbh.

Sometimes the stupid thing brings sucess, people have a reason to use dogecoin because of the meme popularity.

Exactly my thoughts. They took advantage of the Doge Meme and Cryptocurrencies Hype to earn as much money as they can. I totally agree with you. ;)

It sucks because it is Dog-e-coin,which means an e-coin meant for dogs, not humans like us.So stop trading doggycoins.

I've heard that Dogecoin was just copied off another cryptocurrency, Luckycoin.

I don't really see how Dogecoin is different from BTC, other than being based on a meme. Not sure why it got so much hype either, but if that's the way it works someone should make a trollfacecoin or something like that and get rich :giga:

Considering I have only been able to mine two Dogecoins, I would hope they would match BTC at one point so I would get some money. x3

Pretty much every cryptocurrency is really similar and they use the same opensource base so pretty much every cryptocurrency except for BTC is a copycat.

LTC uses scrypt, while BTC uses SHA-256. LTC is still based on BTC, but it's not as similar as dogecoins are to bitcoins.
So far it appears to me that all the the creators of Dogecoin have done is, just changed the font and a few words.

    Doge also uses scrypt.

Although you are right, doge brings nothing new to the table unlike what BTC and LTC did.
