I thought I could start a little debate of sorts or maybe get a REAL conversation going. I personally think that prostitution and drugs should be legalized and by drugs I mean everything. Crack, coke, meth, heroin, marijuana etc. Obviously dumbass motherfucker's are smoking or ingesting horrible shit already in an illegal manner. So, why can't we just tax it and control it. If we legalize drugs it will clear out our prisons, allow regulation of an other wise dangerous behavior/habbit which in return will prevent many death's and disease's and it will also boost the economy.

If you are one of those dumb fucks who are like "But...if we legalize it...everyone is going to do it" then you are a sad moronic fuck who needs to educate themselves. If crack became legal Im still not gonna smoke it. If meth became legal...Im personally not going to smoke it. If your not smoking crack now, then you wont be smoking it when it's legalized.

You just saying this because you were smokin' teh weeD on tinychat.

And lolwut:

You got to be fucking kidding me.

No, Im not fucking kidding you. Some of the drugs I listed above are safer then some of the prescription drugs that are given out each day. I believe if a person wants to destroy their body, they should have the right to do so. At least if the government were to legalize and regulate it, people would know they are getting the cleanest product and not something filled with baking soda and and cleaning supplies.

Thinking is the key word there. Has anything our government ever thought about worked out correctly? Remember, they thought of the war on drugs. They also think that ISP's tracking everything we download or every site we visit is a good thing. Just search up the "Anti-child porn bill" and youll find some interesting shit...its a good name for a bill that violates everyones freedom and actually has nothing to do with child porn, but has more to do with violating our privacy.

Im looking for people who actually have something to say and not some retarded comment. Both of you have successfully contributed nothing to this topic and as always it show's how much people care about freedom.

Anyone who thinks legalizing drugs is a bad idea is incredibly narrow minded.

Portugal legalized all drugs in their country back in the 2001. Is Portugal now filled with heroin addicts and crackheads? Hell no. Their crime rate plummeted because drugs in that country are now not even half as valuable as they were before since they are not difficult to obtain anymore. If there is no money behind a drug then there is no crime behind a drug.

Anyone who wants to do drugs (or already does) will do them whether they are legal or not. People who don't want to do them will not do them even if they are legal. Absolutely nothing would change except that crime would be severely reduced and our government would have some f***ing pocket change once again.

Making them illegal is NOT preventing them from being distributed. It is only wasting millions in tax money to try and prevent it's usage. Even homeless people can obtain drugs easily so imagine how easy it is for someone who actually has money. If millions of dollars have been invested in the war on drugs in america, why is it so easy to obtain drugs?

There have been hundreds of cases in which people have had marijuana plants confiscated which contained no THC in them. Aka these plants were used for hemp and you could not get high from smoking them. These confiscations obviously did nothing to inhibit the circulation of marijuana and cost thousands of dollars in tax payers money to carry out.

Err, all because we didn't agree with you, we didn't contribute? umad.

Sounds more hyporcrital, because we have the right to speak our mind.

Hey, buddy. I hate to break it to you but I never said you weren't allowed to speak your mind :).

Our government actually talked about legalizing prostitution, weed, and internet gambling about 2 weeks ago. This is all a discussion on how to help the economy by earning around $21 billion average from these 3 things a year. I contributed, what now?

Prostitution, marijuana, mushrooms and LSD I'm all for. I'm not for, however, anything that's going to make some jackass not feel pain and come at me even though I've shot him six times in the chest. I agree, though, that legalizing it will cause much less problems. Someone mentioned Portugal, and you needn't look any further than that. It's interesting because it's true, if you legalize, it's WAY easier to get. That means it's not as valuable, which means I'm not going to stab you in the throat for heroine. Gangs have to traffic something else to make money, etc.

I agree, BUT... If it became legal it should have some restrictions like be responsible and not cause any harm to other people while under. Something like that. I my self don't do weed and any other drugs. Coffe is good enough for me haha.
