Edit: Found article on Yahoo Answers about Botb.com - Is it a Scam?
This is like asking if the lottery is a scam. I buy a ticket, and if I'm lucky enough to have guessed a 1 out of 80,000,000 number correctly, then I win MILLIONS of dollars!!!
Is that a scam? No. Am I ever going to win? No.
If they are giving away a car that's worth 1 or 2 hundred thousand dollars (perhaps more), they are going to MAKE tons of money by getting thousands and thousands of people to buy a ticket.
If they take in $500,000, and give someone a car worth $200,000, they are perfectly happy.
So again - no, it's most likely not a scam. No, you are not going to win a car and are certainly throwing your money down the drain.
***By the way - it won't matter if you figure out PERFECTLY where the ball is supposed to be in the picture. I imagine there will be MANY people that get it perfect. They still will only give away ONE car! If they get hundreds of people that figure it out perfectly, they'll have to pick 1 person out of a hat as the winner.
