Trouble Installing Softwares - Vista

I've tried to update my iTunes and Quicktime today but I keep getting an error. I am running on Vista and I do run the installer as admin. iTunes and Quicktime are not the only programs that have this problem though. I always get the same message when trying to install new things.

Could not access network location %APPDATA%/

^That's what the error always says.

I've searched on Google but I couldn't find anything that helped me.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes It might not be supporting Windows Vista. Install Windows XP or 7

install XP it is way better and faster. awesome at games/graphics.

I need to keep Vista on because thats what my dad has installed on this PC

So any other ways to fix that without switching OS?
